This feature provides additional light, views and gentle breezes. Most important is the ability to configure the space to match the wishes of the any occupant any time of day. Afternoon sun bathing is possible for a few hours. This slate floor lanai is often best used when it is an extension of the large living room creating tropical ambiance and flow from interior to exterior. The lanai is designed to be either fully or partially enclosed with sliding glass doors and, thus air conditioned, when closed. It can afford any degree of privacy with sheer curtains and adjustable louvers.
